Quality --- lifeline of service enterprises

Recently reported that the Spring Festival approaching, in order to protect the quality of listed apparel, a city of industry and commerce bureau to carry out special monitoring of clothing. A total of 57 batches were monitored. As many as 33 batches failed, and the failure rate was nearly 59%!

It has also been reported that a certain sample of the inspection and quarantine bureau has recently conducted a special spot check on the pH value of textile and apparel products for export. A total of 58 samples of facial auxiliary materials and garments were sampled, and the rate of unqualified testing was 28.2%.

No matter whether it is domestic clothing or garments to be exported, the passing rate of clothing is not optimistic. This is just an accidental phenomenon, or a chronic disease in China's clothing market?

Trace back to the past 2010 and look at the quality of our clothing...

China Business Daily reported in August 2010 that the qualified rate of garment quality in Shaanxi Province was 64.3%. A total of 89 batches of samples were sampled and 35 batches were rejected.

China Textile Network reported in September 2010 that in the first half of the year, the results of the special inspection of children's wear in Sichuan Province showed that the qualified rate of only 62 batches of spot checks was 62%.

Liaoning News Network reported in December 2010 that the qualified rate of thermal underwear in down apparel in Jinzhou, Liaoning province was less than 50%.

The Beijing Evening News reported in December 2010 that the pass rate of Beijing down apparel was 60%, and the amount of ZARA coat was insufficient.

Henan Business Daily reported in December 2010 that 17 pieces of underwear were unsatisfactory, and there were no best-selling brands such as Shanshan and Langsha.

This is the domestic clothing situation. After our garments are sold to Europe and the United States, what about "worth"?

According to China Textile News, from January to August 2010, the EU initiated 338 recalls of textiles and apparel products, an increase of 117% year-on-year. Among them, the recall of Chinese products reached 175, an increase of 127% over the same period last year. Half of the EU apparel product recalls originated in China.

In terms of clothing safety issues, China's garment enterprises have frequent disputes in international trade, which causes great economic losses each year.

From the above data, awe-inspiring "failure" resembles a sharp sword that stings our nerves. On the one hand, we have inevitably created serious insecurity and worries about the clothes we wear on ourselves; on the other hand, we are worried about the "famous reputation" of Chinese clothing on domestic and foreign markets.

Observe some of the world's most prestigious brands, all of which are constantly improving in quality, even to the point where they are harsh. In the Adan Superstore in Manhattan, New York, a pair of Lucehese women's boots priced at 1,500 US dollars, it is simply unimaginable. But do you know how this pair of boots were made? Lucehese women's boots are very elegant materials, all use the shoulder portion of calves about 1 year old and about half, making a pair of boots to consume a few pieces of whole cowhide, and the whole process is all hand-sewn, very fine. When you calm down and watch it carefully, you will be amazed at the unique design, the material of the best choice, the excellence of production, and the styling of a few artworks. At this point, you will not be surprised at the price. Instead, a genuine feeling will come from your heart.

Look again at countries in Asia. Samsung Group is a world famous company. The first thing that Samsung President Lee Kun Hee took office called out loudly: Samsung people must abandon the concept of lagging behind in the production of light and quality, and establish a sense of quality first, otherwise it will be difficult for companies to survive. This statement is by no means an alarmist. He once flew to Los Angeles to investigate a number of appliance stores and found that Samsung appliances are cheaper than Japanese appliances, but they still cannot attract consumers. He immediately summoned three senior Samsung employees and first compared the best-selling TV and tape recorder products on the market with Samsung products. Samsung's products dwarfed him. Then let the three go to the store to ask why Samsung products are not popular. The answer is: rough design, high failure rate, and poor after-sales service. He did not stop there, but went further to find reasons in the company. He found that: In the past, when Samsung evaluated the performance of subordinate enterprises and employees, 65% of them saw output, but the quality was the largest but only 35%. He therefore proposed that the ratio of the importance of quality to production should be 9 to 1, or even higher. Samsung must make a fundamental change from the point of view, so that the product may become a real world brand.

So, what about us? Why can't we guarantee quality excellence?

Vision should be a little longer. Profits earned by sacrificing the quality of products may temporarily generate huge profits; however, if the company is evergreen, paying attention to the quality of clothing is the king.

As a clothing manufacturing company, only the production of excellent products can win the trust of Chinese consumers and win the recognition of foreign markets before they can win the world.
