According to statistics from the Tianjin Institute of Labor and Health, the energy consumption per unit of fabric in China is 2.4 times that of the world average; the traditional high-temperature alkali dyeing and finishing process consumes a lot of steam, alkali and chemical additives, taking cotton fabrics as an example. The treatment of 10,000 meters of cotton fabric requires 300 tons of water; the processing temperature is 95-100 ° C, accounting for 45% of the total process energy consumption; the fiber is easily damaged and the equipment is easily damaged.

To this end, she led the team to develop new enzyme preparations and green bio-textile processes for the status quo of China's traditional textile industry. Research and development of complex biological enzyme preparations

Through close cooperation with Tianjin Tianfang Group and Hebei Textile Materials Supply and Marketing Co., Ltd., Song Wei team developed three kinds of high-quality textile enzyme preparations and their production processes, including amylase and alkaline pectin, in three years.
