Vault by Vans launches Half Cab and Full Cab commemorative shoes
Following Vans's commemorative shoe "Half Cab 25th Anniversary" in August, the brand's high-end branch Vault by Vans also released a commemorative collection including the Half Cab and Full Cab. The textured leather and high-quality suede with a variety of bright colors give the shoe a new look and a classic white vulcanized outsole. The series will be available to designated retailers worldwide this month, so stay tuned.
Back in 1989, Vans launched the first signature shoe "Full Cab" for skateboarder Steve Caballero. Steve cut the high-sleeve body into a medium-tube style, only to make a variety of skateboarding movements more smoothly. The move unexpectedly caused a wave of turmoil, and Vans deliberately launched the "Half Cab" in the middle tube version three years later. Vault by Vans has injected a new fabric into these two classic shoes to reshape the body.
